Brenda's Dad instilled in her a passion for creative writing. His books were sold in 6 languages. Her mother was a librarian. A love of reading leads to the joy of writing.

Daughter Robin is a successful food writer, and son, Matthew, writes songs as a hobby, while he works around the world.

Brenda writes articles and books and conducts seminars with her writing partner Maralyn Hill. They met nearly 30 years ago at Maralyn's marketing organization in Connecticut. Often one of this future tandem team would remark..."You know, someday we ought to write a book."

Finally, they did. They traveled to unearth treasures in remote places in the world such as Fiji, Africa, India, remote Philippine Islands, Egypt, the Indian Ocean, and their own backyards. Most of the treasures are found within.

They continue to live far apart, coastlines to countries, and commute to make their tandem writing work.
Their first book is a success, so they wrote another, and now cannot stop. In 2001 they wrote, Our Love Affairs with Food & Travel, in 2005 with French Master Chef Herve Laurent they wrote Cooking Secrets the Why and How, and 2008 brings '$uccess, Your Path to a Successful Book'. Success was published in answer to the many participants at Maralyn and Brenda's seminars, marketing workshops, and classes at writer's conferences and spas.
