Winner and Final Chairman by Norman E. Hill is a book that makes an impact. It is a fictionalized version of a corporate power struggle that both draws you into the intrigue and lets you see what the inside workings of a large corporation might be like. There are plenty of twists and turns in the drama that unfolds as each of the characters vie to position their careers to their own best advantage. Back-stabbing and "white lies" seem to be automatic and excepted as the norm, as the top echelon of the companies involved hide the facts from their share-holders and their employees.

This is a book that takes some concentration and reflection while reading. The plot moves quickly, but the details are important. Norman Hill's writing style is detailed and complete, leaving no stone unturned. It is both convincing and alarming. It can be a wake up call to those heavily invested in companies that they really don't know much about.
