Ten Minutes to the Job Interview
Your Last-Minute Guide and Checklist for Securing a Position, a Promotion, a Paycheck.
Written by Rachel Ingegneri; Published by Tallfellow Press

Looking for a Job?
This informative step-by-step guide prepares you mentally and physically to present your best self to a potential employer! While other job interview books focus on questions and pat answers to them, Ten Minutes to the Job Interview offers jobseekers everything they need to deal with in a high stress situation – an interview. No tricks or useless generic advice, here is the book that guides you to project your best image. Ideal for both the first-time job seeker and the seasoned employee caught in the after-effect of downsizing; this is the book that will help you convince a potential employer that YOU are the person to hire!

Ten Minutes to the Job Interview is divided into six, easy-to-read sections including:

  • Prep Work in the Days Before the Interview – Preparation is the key to a successful interview.

  • The Checklist – A quick reminder of the 12 points that result in a successful interview such as how to dress; what to take to the interview; getting to the interview on time and how to wait for the interview; how to greet the interviewer; how to handle tough and personal questions; how to ask the interviewer questions; how to make a closing statement and polite exit; interview follow-ups, and more.

  • The Details – A detailed explanation of the checklist points mentioned above, with advice on how to perform during an interview.

  • Out of Work Due to a Medical Condition – Revealing everything in an interview is not necessary and this section tells you how to handle a recent illness, injury or accident.

  • Congratulations! You Got the Job! – Solid advice on how to maintain the job once you have been hired.

  • Job Hunting/Cover Letter/Resume Writing/References and Resources – A list of the best resources for finding your ideal job and how to write a cover letter and resume.

Our Mission: Our Mission: "Big Blend Magazine is a company based on the belief that education is the most formidable weapon that can be waged against fear, ignorance and prejudice.
It is our belief that education starts at home and branches outward. Education leads to travel, and travel leads to understanding, tolerance, and appreciation of cultures and customs different to our own, and ultimately to world peace. Our company is further based on the principle that networking, communication, and helping others to promote and market themselves leads to financial stability; thus paving the way to better education, travel, and the spirit of giving back to the community."
