Since 1957 the race
for space has sent earth-orbiting satellites and robotic spacecraft to
gather data about the Sun, Earth, other planets and the beyond.
Spacecraft have landed on the Moon, Venus, Mars, the asteroid Eros and
have visited the vicinity of all the major planets and some comets. The
data gives scientists a better understanding of the origin and evolution
of the universe and cosmological phenomena. Orbiting satellites provide
information about weather patterns, the Earth's resources, and military
information. Telecommunication satellites allow us to transfer voice and
image data on a global basis.
See if you can shoot down the pesky space invaders--the more you shoot
the more questions about space milestone you get to answer. There are
eight questions in all! Shoot the invaders, read the clue and unscramble
the answer--it's a challenge and time is of the essence. Take the Space
