Thursdays at The Theatre: Enjoy Thursdays at the Historic Yuma Theatre with the AWC Foundation. Film starts at 7:00pm and is screened in the Historic Yuma Theatre, in downtown Yuma. $5 admission ($2.50 for AWC/NAU students with ID). April 13 & May 4.
11th Annual Village Jazz Series – Bring your seat and blanket to enjoy a relaxing evening of free jazz, Thursdays from 6pm- 8pm during the months of March and April, at the Village Area of the Yuma Palms Regional Center.
March 24: Stargazing at West Wetlands Park – The ancient Greeks and Romans saw their gods in the star filled sky. Bring your imagination to the West Wetlands Park and use a laser pointer to connect the stars, retelling the ancient stories of Orion, Andromeda, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, telescopes and a lawn chair.
March 25: Cruise-in Car Show – Arizona Marketplace welcomes back the Foothills Cruisers Car Club for a Cruise-in car show. There will be a raffle, as well as classic cars, hot rods, and custom cars being showcased throughout the day. Info: 928-328-1088

April 14-15: 2017 Tunes & Tacos Festival – This two-day festival features the Salsa Queen competition with people’s choice tastings, local chefs competing for the title of Yuma’s Taco King, amazing live entertainment on both fields, competitive eating contests, and FREE KidsZones with games, inflatables, carnival rides and fun activities. April 15: Fort Yuma Rotary’s Annual Penitentiary Pint Fest – Enjoy samples of great craft brews from all over the southwest and enjoy live entertainment! Must be 21 or older to attend event. Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park.
April 21-23: 56th Annual Yuma Prison Run – For over 50 years, The Yuma Prison Run has worked to address the needs of children. This event is open to all motorcycles and you don’t even have to ride one to support the event! Come to the Yuma County Fairgrounds to enjoy: Live Music, Bike Games, People Games, Contests, 50/50 drawing, Ride-In Bike Show and an escorted procession to the Territorial Prison Museum! April 22: ARTbeat 10 – Award winning juried fine arts festival that fills Historic Downtown Yuma with local and regional artists. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this festival is named for the iconic news beat and is annually attended by thousands of visitors.
