ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FOOD WINE & TRAVEL WRITERS ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE 2022
Food, wine, and travel writers from every level, along with CVBs, destinations, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and those in the food, wine, and travel industry are encouraged to join the annual International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association Conference now to be held March, 2022. Please note details of this conference may change and this page will be kept updated if changes are made.

Keynote Speaker of the event is André Darlington, author of “Booze Cruise: A Tour of the World’s Most Essential Mixed Drinks” and “Gotham City Cocktails: Official Handcrafted Food & Drink From the World of Batman.” Attendees can choose from a series of six professional development sessions to advance writing and photography skills including how to create engaging destination videos, mastering SEO, upping your food writing game, what you need to know about Instagram Reels, how to land the best press trips, and perfecting your pitch to grab and editor’s attention. Plus, a Culinary Panel will be hosted by Andy Harris and will feature a diverse panel of experts from the Tampa Bay area. In addition to the main conference, there will be two pre-trips and two-post trips for registered attendees who apply and are accepted to some great nearby destinations: Orlando, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Tampa Bay.

Her wine credentials include Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, French and Italian certifications from the Wine Scholar Guild, and Certified Specialist of Wine.  In June 2020, she published her first book as editor, “Imagineers, Impresarios, Inventors: Cincinnati’s Arts and the Power of Her.” In June 2021, Kathy published her first biography: “Answering the Call of the Wild: The Remarkable Life of Cathryn Hosea Hilker.”

SCOTT KENDALL: Co-Chair of the IFWTWA Conference 2022, Scott Kendall is Editor of https://playstayeat.com as well as a freelance travel writer, photographer, and videographer based in The Woodlands, Texas.
