Owned and operated by mother-daughter duo Nancy J. Reid and Lisa D. Smith since 1997, Big Blend Magazine has transformed from being a variety print publication that covered Southern California and the Desert Southwest to being global in coverage and digital in format with a variety of magazines. Since 2008, Big Blend has also hosted the popular Big Blend Radio podcast and its variety of shows.
This year, 2025, Big Blend Magazines is launching the “Big Blend Express,” a digital news magazine featuring latest Big Blend Radio episodes, event news, and more. We are also be launching a series of special themed Big Blend Magazines, that also include the seasonal Jefferson Highway Travel Guide, and a Retrospective of Artist-in-Residence Interviews through the National Parks Arts Foundation.
