BIG WEEKLY BLEND PODCAST: AUGUST 28 – SEPTEMBER 3, 2023
Books & Music, Bow Ties, Outdoor Gatherings & More!
Say Goodbye to August and Hello to September with this episode of the Big Weekly Blend podcast that celebrates the national and international holidays, pop culture, and historic happenings between Aug. 28-Sept. 3, 2023, plus, the 6th Annual Joey Stuckey Alive Day that will be held on Sept. 29 in downtown Macon, Georgia.
Featured guests on the podcast include musicians, singers, and songwriters Joey Stuckey, Pam Bedwell, Nick Malloy, and Tom Rule, who will all be performing at Joey Stuckey’s Alive Day, which is free, family-friendly, and also recognized in Macon-Bibb as an Official Day Of Celebration by the Mayor. The special event celebrates the day that Joey’s brain tumor was successfully removed. It was thought that he wouldn’t survive the tumor or surgery, and that if he did, he would never walk or talk again. Though the tumor left him blind and with a host of other health challenges, he says “I am most gloriously alive and so grateful for the life I have and for my friends, family and for the gift of music!” More about Joey Stuckey Alive Day: https://www.joeystuckey.com/news/alive-day
