BISCUITS & BENEDICTS TWO WAYS
Compiled by editors Nancy J. Reid and Lisa D. Smith
Though there are conflicting reports on who created the original Eggs Benedict recipe, most accounts point to New York City as its origins. Eggs Benedict is typically built up with two halves of an English muffin as the base, each topped with a slice of Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and Hollandaise Sauce.
As part of our Love Your Park Tour we often stay at bed and breakfasts, boutique hotels, and historic inns. Breakfast is a highlight of a stay, especially when you meet innkeepers who are avid foodies with a passion and flair for cooking. Enjoy the two Eggs Benedict video recipes below where two innkeepers decided to ditch the English muffin tradition and bring a delicious biscuit twist to this popular breakfast and brunch dish.
