Open from October-April, The Peanut Patch is a southwest tradition where folks gather to buy nuts and peanuts, homemade peanut brittle and peanut butter, fine chocolates and confections, snacks and candies, dried fruit and dates, and gourmet gifts including salsas, relishes, jams, syrups, preserves, olives, and more. They’re known for their homemade fudge, and for creating custom and themed gift baskets and gift tins.
If you’re in Yuma be sure to visit Donna for one of her free tours that happen at 10am in the months of January and February. Along with peanut fun facts, these tours showcase Yuma’s history of peanut farming and how peanuts grow. Plus, you can see how they make their homemade peanut brittle and enjoy a free fudge tasting at the end!
If you can’t visit the store during their open season, you can shop online year-round for all kinds of gifts and delicious goodies at www.ThePeanutPatch.com.
