Elote: Corn on the Cob

Perfect for summer grilling, 5-Star Chef Ivan Flowers explains how to make Elote, Mexican-style Corn on the Cob, and shares other cooking tips on Big Blend Radio.


6 Ears of Corn, shucked

¼ Cup Canola Oil



¾ Cup Mayonnaise

½ Cup Parmesan

1 Tsp. Cumin

½ Tsp. Granulated Garlic

2 Limes

½ Cup Cilantro, chopped


Brush shucked corn with canola oil and then season with salt & pepper. Place on medium-high grill and cook for two minutes on each side.

While corn is grilling, in a large bowl combine the mayonnaise, cumin and garlic. Set aside.

Once corn is grilled, brush with mayonnaise mixture & sprinkle generously with Parmesan and cilantro. Serve with wedges of fresh lime.
Serves 6.
