Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Asian Marinade

GRILLED FLAT IRON STEAK WITH ASIAN MARINADE

5-Star Chef Ivan Flowers joins Big Blend Radio show share how to make his Flat Iron Steak with Asian Marinade. 

 

 

 

Serves 4

1 lb. Flat Iron Steak, cut into ½ inch thick slices
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Brown Sugar
¼ Tsp. Chili Sesame Oil
¼ Tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1/8 Tsp. Red Wine Vinegar
½ Shallot, finely minced
Juice ½ Orange
1/8 Tsp. Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
Pinch Kosher Salt
½ Cup Mayo
2 Tsp. Sriracha

In a bowl combine: shallot, brown sugar, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, orange juice and salt. Whisk together.

Coat each slice of steak with marinade and let it sit for one hour at room temperature.

In another bowl, whisk together mayo and Sriracha. Hold in fridge.

Heat grill to high and grill 30 seconds on each side.

Serve with cilantro and Sriracha Mayo.
