NATIONAL GEORGAPHIC KIDS: SOMEBUNNY LOVES ME

Listen to the Big Blend Radio interview with Youtube sensation and musician Parry Gripp who discusses his adorable new National Geographic Kids picture book called “Somebunny Loves Me” that’s all about the magical world of furry friendships!

National Geographic Kids adorable new picture “Somebunny Loves Me” (hardcover picture book, ages 4-8, $16.99) is by Parry Gripp, who is a massive Youtube presence and his songs — notably Raining Tacos — is used by DJ’s across the country as snippets and sound bites.  Parry’s quirky, popular tunes, including “Nom, nom, nom” and “It’s Raining Tacos” have made his YouTube channel a smash hit with nearly 140 million views.

Parry is an avid animal lover and his bunny Bruno is often the inspiration behind so many of his songs.  In Somebunny Loves Me, Parry’s sweet and silly rhymes are cleverly written to share how children can best understand, appreciate and interact with a variety of fuzzy, feathered or scaly pals.  Paired with adorable, full-page photographs, Parry also includes a personal note in the back of the book giving kids and their parents more tips on how to be good pet owners — from how to keep pets safe, clean and healthy to how to best interact with them and even pointers on how to make a pet music video.

Parry and Nat Geo also teamed up to create a Somebunny Loves Me song and music video — so kids can read and sing along as they turn the pages (hopefully with their favorite pet by their side!).  The song, video and several spreads from the book can be viewed at Nat Geo’s Somebunny Loves Me dedicated page: https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/explore/books/somebunny/.
